FreedomBooksOptional plugins
The core of FreedomBooks never needs an outside login. Anything that has to connect to another service is a plugin. You turn on only the ones you want, and the app works fine with none of them.
Bank feeds
Bring in your bank transactions through SimpleFIN, so you don't have to type them in. You connect your own SimpleFIN account.
Email invoices
Send invoices to customers by email, using Gmail, Microsoft 365 or any SMTP mail server.
Read receipts
Turn a receipt into a draft bill, using your own ChatGPT account with "Sign in with ChatGPT".
You stay in charge
- Plugins are off until you turn them on.
- Each plugin uses your own account with that service. FreedomBooks does not sell you one.
- AI suggestions stay drafts. Nothing goes into your books until you look it over and save it.
- Without any plugins, FreedomBooks still does all of your bookkeeping, offline.
